Pope
Upon hearing the news that the Pope is to resign, my immediate and first thoughts were " So he's been caught then ". A sad indication of the church, which every single day gets discredited more and more by the child molesting vicars, clergy and clerics that infest our lives.

America & Gun Control
Well, I could write for a whole week on this subject, but just need to say I am totally against guns. What really is unbelievable is the American reaction to our own Piers Morgan's campaign to have tougher gun control.
Fresh from the massacres in Newton Sandy Point, and the Aurora cinema massacre, gun murders are high profile over in the usa, as they should be. The NRA supporters harp on about the 2nd Amendment and the ancient line of America's Right To Bear Arms. Thing is, these 'Amendments' were written HUNDREDS of years ago, in the days of the wild west, Billy the Kid, Jesse James etc. yet todays gun fanatics seem to still want to live by these rules. They simply cannot see that the world has changed.They simply seem unable to see what the rest of the world sees and the death and destruction guns come with.
I watch Piers CNN show and I see the gun supporters screaming and shouting about how "you'll never get us to hand in our guns", etc, etc. yesterday I watched Pier's interview with an american called ted Nugent, a singer I think, who stated " An armed society is a polite society", and THAT is the exact reason why America is descending into anarchy and lawlessness, and fast. Since the Sandy Point murders in January there have been over 1200 shooting in America.
You get idiots like Alex Jones who spouts that schools should be armed with teachers carrying guns !! WHAT ???

What a great invention Facebook is ! Love it, I use it each and everyday, sometimes up to 12 hours per day too. A truly brilliant website, something for everyone, a great social hub, and good for gaming too.
Only downside to this is that you get people who seem to think that swearing, f'word this and c'word that is socially acceptable...and it's definately NOT. Therefore I am constantly deleting these people from my 'friends' list, which currently numbers over 1200.

People at Cash Point Machines (moan)
Okay, this morning and in the freezing cold wind I was unlucky enough to be stood in line for the local cashpoint. This guy puts his card in, gets a printout ( grrr), puts another TWO cards in, another 2 printouts before putting the first card BACK in, puts the wrong pin number in, finally gets it right and withdraws £10, walks off without an apology for wasting at least 3 mins of my life, no shame or anything.
WHY dont these people do this stuff online in the comfort of their own living room???? Surely they own a computer, do these people REALLY not know how to register for online banking? If not then why not????
Sooo easy, as every morning first thing, I log onto the Halifax, and within 3 mins I know exactly what transactions have gone on during the past 24 hrs, I know the balance and whats available for withdrawal. Then, when I get to the cashpoint machine ALL I am there for is to withdraw money, nothing else. Maximum time at a cashpoint should be no longer than 19 seconds ( assuming normal cashpoint machine speed). I usually take no longer than 15 seconds, from card going in to card coming out.
Some people just have NO respect for others.

Ohh deep joy, yet again the Scots have failed to live up to any sporting expectations, being trounced by a weak England team 38 - 18 in first game of the 2013 6 Nations. if that wasn't bad enough for them, the English ladies thrashed the scots ladies by 78 - 0...
